Gearing a Rogue in Heroic Dungeons for basic Cataclysm raids is both easy and hard. It's easy because the only competition you'll have for rolls most of the times is a Feral Druid. You'll also get competition from your resident Huntards who'll most likely roll for cape, neck, weapon, trinket, and ring items. But these are very rare as Random Dungeon Finders make sure you'll get into a group where you'll get to roll on gears that are for you.

It's hard because there are quite few options to choose from, as many dungeons only drop ONE useful item. And there's always a chance that the gears won't drop at all! But there are also some alternatives where you can get your gear to prep you up for World of Warcraft:Cataclysm's easy raiding instances. You have your faction quartermasters, to whom you need to get exalted to first, plus your Justice Points quartermasters.
