Dungeon Call to Arms Mechanic: Yay or Nay?

You've most likely heard that come World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Patch 4.1, we'll be having a new mechanic in the Random Dungeon Finder called "Call to Arms." For those who haven't it's simply like Battleground's Call to Arms mechanic which gives additional rewards to players who will participate in the specified battleground. The only difference here is that instead of a battleground (or dungeon in our case) being the factor of letting us get the additional rewards, it will be the party role you will be playing instead.
Blizzard is impletementing this system in an attempt to reduce the random dungeon finder wait time DPSers have often been ranting about eversince the beginning of Cataclysm. They lure the players that can play the role (mostly tanks and at some point healers) the servers feel lacking by giving additional rewards such as additional Valor Points, and a small drop chance of a rare mount and epic gear via Satchel of Exotic Mysteries. Do the roles that aren't under the effects of the Call to Arms mechanic get additional rewards too? Sadly, no.
The new dungeon finder system is currently under heated debate from all roles (obviously), with DPSers QQing that only tanks and at some point healers, will have better chances of getting rare drops rather than them, plus there's the argument that tanks and healers would progress faster even with the new system because of additional Valor Points. Of course, the tanks and at some point healers, retaliate by saying "you want Blizzard to fix your queue time problems, well there you have it!"
For sure, roles will begin to balance out once Patch 4.1 kicks in. But there will be issues of players queueing up for a role they're not adept (Paladins with Retribution Gear queueing as a Tank), thus making the dungeon runs a little more complicated. But of course, we really can't tell until we see it for ourselves. For now, as a DPS, I welcome the change since I'm sick and tired of waiting for 35+ minutes just to get into a group (unfortunately, I log at a time when my guildies are offline). And I can always hop into my tank alt since the rewards are account bound (except for the Valor Points ofcourse).
