'Duke Nukem Forever' finally ascends from growth hell

Dungeon Call to Arms Mechanic: Yay or Nay?

You've most likely heard that come World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Patch 4.1, we'll be having a new mechanic in the Random Dungeon Finder called "Call to Arms." For those who haven't it's simply like Battleground's Call to Arms mechanic which gives additional rewards to players who will participate in the specified battleground. The only difference here is that instead of a battleground (or dungeon in our case) being the factor of letting us get the additional rewards, it will be the party role you will be playing instead.
Blizzard is impletementing this system in an attempt to reduce the random dungeon finder wait time DPSers have often been ranting about eversince the beginning of Cataclysm.

Yogg Saron Soloed Death Knight-Style!

It's just crazy how 5 levels make the difference. With Cataclysm blessing us with a level cap of 85, it's quite awesome to realize how easy stuffs in Wrath of the Lich King are right now, especially in raids! We can understand you can solo WOTLK quests and heroic dungeons now, but solo a raid boss? Well that's just crazy sauce! It was shown a couple of months ago how a Death Knight single handedly downed Lord Marrowgar, a boss in the Ice Crown Citadel raid which we in retrospec we considered hard, and now here's another Death Knight (or is it the same?) downing not just some easy squeezy boss in ICC, Trial of the Champions, or Ulduar, but the Old God Yogg-Saron himself! I didn't even know it was possible with all the adds and mind controlling, but leave it to a Death Knight (and most likely a Pally) to get the job done.

Hit the break to watch 10 minutes of awesomeness.

Hunter Memorial: Ammunition (Arrows/Bullets)

Hunter Memorial gives tribute to past Hunter abilities that make or break the way the arrow-wielders do their business. In the past, several abilities have been added and removed throughout the course of World of Warcraft. And now, as we've entered World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, we face yet again the daunting task of adjusting to new mechanics. The most daunting of all perhaps is the resource change from Mana to Focus, which made us reconsider our rotations that we've been so used to in Wrath of the Lich King.

Top 5 Best Looking Hunter Pets in Cataclysm

Hunter pets are one of the crowning glories of the arrow-wielding class. With their additional DPS plus the buff/debuff they inflict, they are considered as the extra fire power a group or raid needs to properly get the job done. Though there are times when Hunters prefer to use pets as a novelty or show towards other classes and co-hunters (think Pokemon), especially when the essential buffs/debuffs are already provided in the raid. So we choose the best looking one so we would look really bad-ass whenever we do some serious content.

What if World of Warcraft was in Real Life?

Ever wondered how World of Warcraft would look like if it was in real life? Heck, to some of us, World of Warcraft IS life (in a good way). And although this video is outdated and the graphics a little dismal; these guys showed what a little hard work and dedication can do in paying homage to the greatest MMORPG in the history of the planet. The video is after the break!

I just can't understand though what class he was playing. At one point I thought it was a Paladin, then there was the Fearing so I thought it'd be a Warlock. Then there was healing so I gave up. The video basically tells the story of a character (whatever his class is) taking random quests from factions I cannot begin to comprehend. I was amazed on the death part though as they masterfully portray the spirit world with ease.

A Letter to the DPS, From a Healer

Dear DPS, Christmas was a time of joy, a time of cheers and a time of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Eversince the expansion began, us healers haven't exactly been getting a good time since we can't solo most of our quests (Twilight Highlands was horror incarnate for soloing healers). Yeah sure we have the option of nicely asking our friends or guildies for help, but some healers aren't that fortunate. So we usually just use our off-spec to grind the quests, not having much time practicing our healing skills.
